    Not problems to by integrated in final Android 7 f/w, but for now are other problems witch need to be fixed
    - Bluray region code not working.
    - Pause while refresh rate change block EgreatPlayer to start play video.
    - EgreatMusic player not passthrough if standard Android sound setting is not set to RAW
    - EgreatPlayer not start play movie after EgreatMusic player 7.0(f/w are play on background with HDMI set to RAW on standard Android setting, working better with EgreatMusic player 5.0(f/w
    - EgreatPlayer not sound after others video player use it --> reboot box solve.
    - Optimize network setting on framework-res string.
    - Apps set to run on startup are very slow(late) start.
    - Some apps lost their setting after reboot.
    - MyApp forget additional shortcuts after reboot.
    - Add Egreat bluetooth remote support.
    - Add discrete power on/off IR codes support.
    - General improve/speedup of Android base.

    Android 5 & 7
    - Stability of samba network scan some time Video & Music not return a same samba servers in network.
    - Fix Miracast not working when box is connect to Ethernet cable bug present also on Android 5 after WiFi open/close introduce by Egreat Team.

    - If anyone need VidonXBMC for play VC-1 remux give a try of version included on f/w
    - Please other tester users post feedback with problems not only msg like "back to Android 5".

    Oh yes something to verify is that SMB Server/Client is really SMB version 3 compatible now. Somebody even mentioned SMBv3.1.1 compatibility being the latest.
    SMBv1 really should not be used anymore as it is absolutely unsafe.

    This is an important goody of the Android 7 upgrade I totally forgot about.

    Hello, lots of things are being said here.
    I only want to know if there is any advantage using this build over the stable ?
    I don't care for Youtube in 4K HDR and Vidon unfortunaletly does not work for me with Atmos for some reason.

    N.B: if someone wants to help and tell me about one or two real advantages compared to then I thank thee in advance. Otherwise I am not going to delve into a research on Google Nougat.

    To be more on topic.
    The resolution doesn't survive if the A5 is turned off. Starting up again, it's in 1080i 60Hz and the HDR output is changed from Off to Auto.
    I haven't tested adding any movies yet for poster scanning.

    These units have same classic problem ViDon me had with flaky firmware that would eventually crash . My A10 has done it and it took a long time to sort out and now my A5 has become temperamental .

    Egreat has again become the Egreat of old with all the promises and no results and no customer support typical Chinese company I predict Egreat will close and not be heard of in a few years leaving their current customers high and dry then reopen again promising the world and delivering nothing as the y have done prior to these models .

    @The Stoka nobody has issues with vidon here. and most of us are actually relieved that android 7 is finally out. and if egreat closes like you say in a few years... Our devices would have lasted long enough

    Very few Chinese companies provide direct support to the customer, and as far as I am aware none of the other Chinese media player manufacturers besides Egreat communicate at all. They expect the distributer to take on that role which is not unreasonable given language and distance.
    Usually under law all problems fall to the responsibility of the retailer unless explicitly stated otherwise and this must still comply with trading standards of the country of sale. I agree if you have problems after the warranty period expires this is dissapointing but true of many items for sale today. In the UK the consumer rights act of 2015 under the statutes of limitation has some added protection for up to 6 years for items that are expected to have a reasonable working life. Most retailers stay quiet but I know Apple for one will replace or repair in accordance with this ruling.

    Why don't you try to reset the machine? You will have to set it up again, but it would likely solve your problems.

    I haven't had any problems with vidon too, but to be honest I rarely use it. You could also try other Kodi builds.

    Egreat have indeed delayed very much with firmwares, and I have complained numerous times, but they finally seem to deliver (kind of) on their promises.

    Nowhere did I say the retailer would create new firmware, what I said was if you required support i.e your player was not performing to specification or was faulty in some way the retailer is responsible for offering a solution or replacing the faulty item. At the same time if you load software or firmware that has not been cleared by or supplied by the distributer or retailer you are accepting the fact that you load it at your own risk and that the player may no longer work as specified. Some retailers might argue it invalidates any warranty. No supplier would sell you a player with firmware that was in Beta or did not meet specification. If you load builds direct from Egreat you accept they may degrade performance or cause other issues. You were happy to buy the player with Android 5 and that was all you paid for so some credit should be given to Egreat that they are in the process of offering Android 7 and any other enhancements free of charge considering the effort involved in their development.
