I’m sure it’s only “a few days” until a new Firmware arrives. ;)

My A10 has just had a FW update. Version 1510.

Looks like it's mostly to do with the poster wall version 3.

    Not working here.
    Says no server found...
    Doesn't load the posters.
Anyone else experiencing the same problem?

Just started a post with the exact same thing. It's under Poster Wall 3.

WTF new firmware for A10 ,.... Version 1510 , Update on start from egreat . NICE!

It's mostly the Poster Wall. V3 isn't as good as V2. It's in Beta and so far, not as flexible.

One question, do you follow the double bar in the uhd rip with HDR? Thank you.

Sorry, I have no idea what that means.

I guess it was too good to be true, that we would ever get the update to Android 7 it would at least have given us an extra few years to continue using the Android part of the box for movie apps and the like, other than that, i am fairly happy with my A10 but, i doubt i would ever buy one of there products again.

When a movie is not at 3840x2160 (for example 3840x1600) and has HDR, the black bars appear double at the top and part of the movie cut at the bottom.

Ah, I understand what you mean now. It's like having two shades of bar next to each other.

    I've not seen it myself.

Could it mean your brightness/contrast are out? Might be worth having a recalibration of the monitor/TV.

Or, could it be the way the file has been transcoded from the original source?

It's the black bar bug. It happens when you have a 4k movie that has an aspect ration of 2.40. It doesn't happen if you get a remuxed movie at 16x9, which is what I do, if you check the Android 7 threads, that fixes the black bar bug.
