    1- try another TV
    2- try another device on the same TV
    3- at worst it means that the hdmi output is faulty; this happens a lot, mainly when people plug in/out the hdmi cable while the device is turned ON (something that is FOOLISH)

    I also have this problem, when you turn on the A5 and then the AV receiver hdmi signal disappears from the A5... if you include the first AV resiver and then A5 that this is not a problem. dobitna the signal can only connect then A5 directly to the TV at the same time noticed that the resolution on the A5 becomes as 2160@24. on the profile forum http://4pda.ru/forum/index.php?showtopic=789183&st=2900 also wrote about this problem.

    @piotr,

    If your inside the EU and Futeko is also inside the EU, then I would suggest to see for the warrantee, as the given warrantee that is being given, doesn't seem to reflect the EU rules/law. As the EU warrantee is stating 2 years warrantee has to be given as minimum. However each country decide further themselves how they will do this as long as it is not lesser than the EU law is stating.

    Like I am from the Netherlands and we don't have 2 years warrantee by law. But instead of this, we have the law saying that a consumer will have warrantee as long as it is to be expected that a device should work. For an example a TV for EUR 150 there it can be 2 years warrantee being the max. But if you buy one for EUR 3500 then you may expect that the quality is higher and that you than also may expect that it will longer. And for here you also have a longer warrantee period. And like a washing machine, where you can expect that it will 5 years, you also will have 5 years warrantee. However the expectation should be reasonable and if seller disagree, then the judge will have to make the ruling regarding expectation for life circle of a device.

    But anyway, the general law in EU is that there is a warrantee period of 2 years. I think that also in Poland there is a consumers website where, I'm sure, you can find some information about this. I would suggest to check this.

    For me, I had 1 time a shaver from Braun that didn't work anymore, only 2 month after they stated the warrantee was ended. The battery was broken, I think, and without battery I couldn't use. There the store also refused to fix the problem and expected that I would pay for the repair cost. In the end, I cancelled the pursage and claimed the refund of the total amount. Which they then did, as they didn't have a choice.

    Regards,
    Hans

    2 years warranty on EU are regalement by directive, so EU country adopted with local low witch can amended condition when/how get it 2 years warranty, but no shorter than 1 year warranty.
    To make thinks more complicate in EU country many products have 2 years legal warranty and just 1 year supplier warranty witch force a trader to repair/replace/refund a defective item on him cost witch can take for a while until right decision come. Other point is supplier extended warranty for 3/5 year can apply to when buying new model/top level/end of life/etc but on this case claim for warranty need to be solved by supplier.
    I will stop for now because warranty directive on EU is offtopic here.
    Always read carefully a trader warranty condition and local warranty low in country of trader to know witch cost/risk are assuming for warranty claims before buying from a online shops.

    @piotr,
    You try it recovery(bootargs.bin, fastboot.bin, recovery.img, update.zip) method with FW v1.0.7 using FAT32 USB maxmin 8GB partition and USB 2.0(black) from left side on yours Egreat A5?

    @E_CS,

    I don't know if EU Laws of topic, if Piotr, thinks he has only 1 year warantee, and others have 2 years warantee. I don't think EU warantee law is off topic and I think he should check the law/rules from the country where he bought the product. If it's bought online or at a shop, that doesn't matter. And if he bought at Futeko (which I think is inside the UK) then they also have follow the EU law or UK law. And it is worth to check this. As I do think, Futeko needs to repair, if the device has being used normal by Piotr. That a company makes a statement of 1 year warrantee, doesn't mean, that it is a fact.

    in the end I don't know if hdmi is damaged. my A5 I use according to @repir advise.
    First if A5 is turned on ,than I turn on AV RECEIVER and it works. Sometimes RECEIVER is turned on at first , I turn A5 on and hdmi works too . It is very strange because my A5 was working for 14 month properly what I wrote already. @E_CS you are right about UK or UE warranty. I will try to get information about UK warranty.

    If there is an image then hdmi is OK. this problem also occurred on the himedia q5/10 player. it has been speculated that this is due to the Pinout of hdmi output on the player and the hdmi input on the AV receiver. If the player A5 / 10 directly connected to the TV, then this problem is not seen.
