    TO ALL Egreat A05/A10/A11 (maybe A15 and A5II) owners

    following the FW update 3.0.65 from the incredible @E_CS please find attached the updated .xlm file edited that must be applied starting from now in order to make KODI work with the superb external egreat player by default ! credits to the work of @tobbenb and @chuangman

    HOW to :

    1- Install the CFW 3.0.65 from egreat menu (if you are already on android 7); device reboots
    2- Install CFW_firmware_v3.0.6.5_fix_SMB_NFS_mount_visibility (to use KODI+egreatplayer); in the next FW update from @E_CS this won't be needed anymore
    3- extract the file of the zip attached here (xml)
    4- copy the xml in kodi using file manager (details on the first post)
    5- close kodi and open again
    6- set the path of your videos in the egreat menu "ALL FILES"; once done write the same path name as a video source inside KODI (il will be like this /mnt/nsfShare/nfs_share0 (or 1 or 2 or 3) according to what egreat has mounted

    ENJOY...your egreat device has been REBORN

    NOTE: there is a small bug as KODI forgets the paths upon each reboot/power off; so you will need each time to go to the egreat menu "ALL FILES" and just press the remote button on each path already created, so that KODI can see them again - it will take no more that 10 seconds !

    I have a new trick to save several seconds. Set NFS/SMB folder in "Video" (option button/path,via auto network search). Then in Setting ,set boot with "Video" , it is the same way that can lead to mount NFS/SMB, without manually going to All Files-NFS path, that can save several seconds. :)

    Hi~My KODI edtion is 18.8.
    Hi~Does this playercorefactory.xml can work with *.iso? When I play *.iso in KODI, Egreat player cannot be called to play, while playing BDMV folder(UHD&BD) and *.mkv is OK. I'm not sure whether the KODI editon or the playercorefactory.xml leads to the problem. Can you or someone else be kindly test this? Thanks.

    Will test...but no iso for now. Kodi natively plays iso...and egreatplayer plays iso...so I don't see why there is a problem...
    Maybe change settings in kodi and egreat settings for iso menus? @E_CS did not mention that...

    To set on Kodi settings/Player/Disc/Blu-ray playback mode to Show simplified menu is ugly solution, inside of that try attached version with Blu-ray playback mode set to Play main movie.

    If anyone else hates transition animation when use Kodi + Egreat player, then make off on developer options

    Hello! Could anybody please help me to solve Kodi Leila-Egreat player integration?
    I have latest official firmware version on my device 1.5.1.0 with Android 5. I installed XBMCWrapper.v.4.0.10, generated playercorefactory, scanned content by NFS and SAMBA and it works well with NFS but don’t work with SAMBA. Have no idea, that is the issue. Might be Wrapper can’t use SAMBA login/pass from KODI? Where it is stored in KODI? How to check it? OR the issue in Android 5 version - Android 7 is mandatory? I attached a couple of screenshots to demonstrate how does it looks like and to visualize the Wrapper’s settings. Could you please check and help if possible?
    p.s. HTTP method doesn’t work for SAMBA too.
    p.p.s. plaeyrcorefactory attached above doesn't work on Android 5. I tried. Kodi said (in the banner at the top of the screen): External player started, but nothing do start in reality :-(
    I use the Wrapper's code:
    <playercorefactory>
    <players>
    <player name="XBMCWrapper" type="ExternalPlayer" audio="false" video="true">
    <filename>hu.xmister.xbmcwrapper</filename>
    <hidexbmc>true</hidexbmc>
    <playcountminimumtime>120</playcountminimumtime>
    </player>
    </players>
    <rules action="prepend">
    <rule protocols="smb" player="XBMCWrapper" >
    <rule video="true" player="XBMCWrapper" />
    </rule>
    <rule protocols="nfs" player="XBMCWrapper" >
    <rule video="true" player="XBMCWrapper" />
    </rule>

    <rule action="overwrite" protocols="pvr" player="VideoPlayer" >
    <rule video="true" player="VideoPlayer" />
    </rule>
    <rule action="overwrite" internetstream="true" player="VideoPlayer" >
    <rule video="true" player="VideoPlayer" />
    </rule>
    <rule protocols="dav" player="XBMCWrapper" >
    <rule video="true" player="XBMCWrapper" />
    </rule>

    </rules>
    </playercorefactory>

    7th got me unpleasant impression, sorry. Egreat's GUI is under barbiturates even in 5. When I did install 7 it was more slow, for my impression.
    It would be great to overcome the Wrapper's issue on 5. But if not... eh-h.
