Thnx and I hope that all the problems are fixed now, that we will have a stable FW for a long time with a nice PosterWall and stable video player.
I understand that Egreat have hard times, but maybe it will work out now, which I really hope.
keep on the good work and learn from the past years.

I downgraded my A10 from Andoid 7 and installed this FW instead. Will report my findings here.

    I just upgrade my firmware.
There are 2 serious issues for poster wall
    1. Every time when I reboot the device, it needs to load ALL data again and it takes very long time, this issue happens in last firmware update and the new update does not rectify it.
    2. A lot of movie poster cannot be loaded and just put under ‘unclassified’

Findings using Music Player 2.0. Clearly some good work was done on it but further work needs to be done! Apart from still missing support for DSD/SACD in total these are all in the nuisance area not making the player unusable.

Controls of the new Music Player 2.0
    1) I can pause and jump to next previous title (via the chapter buttons) using the dedicated buttons on the remote. Strange to initiate pause I need to press the stop button on the remote not pause as this will jump to the next track. Fast forward/Reserve buttons don't work at all.
    2) Moving the cursor down to lyrics first and controls next one can use the on-screen buttons by navigation of the cursor (or pointer mouse directly). This is my main view by the way and leave it there most of the time.
    3) Moving the cursor left shows the playlist for direct selection of any title.
    3) One can use a smart-phone with HiControl or CetusPlay APP's installed. This is my preference as it allows me to power-off my TV listening to music. Some actions don't seem to work via Hicontrol (touching the relevant button).

Overall this works nice and easy with only a bit of work needed for the dedicated buttons on the remote (I use an AK86 BT remote with A11).
I actually like the setup and controls of the new Music Player 2.0, specifically local options for player settings and updates are nicely done.

As settings I am using HDMI RAW Audio output ON and in Music Player itself Source Audio Output ON also.
Without both of these settings 2-channel 48 Khz 16-bit audio output is forced for all source audio formats regardless the actual format (=Android default behavior). This will then typically deviate from what is correctly displayed on-screen nicely. One may be confused expecting that what it is displayed on-screen is always reproduced in that format too which repeat is only the case if both are ON.

    Findings:
    - FLAC192 Khz 24 bit source won't produce any sound unless Source Audio output is set to ON. This is the only format not playing with OFF and as such not following the Android default as expected. Lucky this source format is not a real standard and not very common.
I am talking here for those not having an AMP and not being able to use HDMI RAW. These customers expect the player to still output LPCM at 48Khz and 16 bit (handled without problems by their TV). Only for 192 KHz and 24-bit this won't work with all other rates down sampling to 48 Khz SQ works correctly.
    - MP3 is still always played at 48 Khz which is dead wrong as it is 44.2 khz sampled as indicated also onscreen correctly. Other source formats at 44.1 do play correctly at that rate, so it is not a problem with support of 44.1 Khz itself. One may hear the difference on quality audio-sets/headsets.
    - My FLAC and DTS-CD tests played at the correct rates and also in multi channel mode where applicable.
    - CUE sheets do work correctly but must be selected explicitly (not found automatically).
Once known not a problem just a minor inconvenience.
    - CUE sheets in combination with DTS-CD regularly produce a 1 second hiccup after about 5 sec start of every next title. Playing the WAV directly without CUE sheets does not have this problem.
    - DSF (DSD64) sources are found but all songs are skipped one by one. ISO SACD is still seen as a video image obviously not playing.

    - On several places Chinese messages still pop-up. Sorry Egreat but my Chinese skills did not develop yet!
    - Noticed that setting the front display to "remaining time" does not work for music player 2.0 as it just counts "playing time" with that setting. Not regarded a flaw but as missing a potential feature.

    - The Music button on my remote does not bring me back to Music Player 2.0 but to the file browser. This is a pity as getting back to it running in the background is very cumbersome (via My App's).
    - On A10 (not A11) setting the front display to "clock" will result in a double update for both displaying clock and playing time so it will flip twice per second between both displays as the result.

    Final Conclusion:
Just done limited testing but looking good as I did not encounter any instabilities yet during actual playback and it has good reactions on the controls/remote too.
For me flawless playback is the most important aspect for a music player.
    :)

Now Music playback works acceptable for me; will return to using my A10/A11 as prime players for normal use again. Lets see what we find more. ;)

BD Audio Only and DVD-Audio discs (both supported) are played by the Movie Player, not via Music Player as strange as that may sound (they use DVD and BD standards related formats). They also should always be played with Menus as they mostly use multiple Titles rather than Chapters. So going there via Music is the wrong approach as these won't play that way for sure.

Same here as above. Has only showed 4 movies in All, Everything else which is a little over 1000 movies have been put under Unclassified and everyone of them is showing a BLANK POSTER. What is going on with this NEW Firmware Update. Ended up Clearing Data, Now won't even show Anything in Video Part (Posters), even though if I go into Files everything is there and will play but nothing in Video (Posters). Again WTF is going on, you Trust that these Firmware Updates have been fully tested before letting this out for everyone to Update. Not at all happy with this. This needs to be sorted out ASAP, are you listening Rita and Egreat.

    @Nice Monkey
Firmware v1.3.0.9 for me flac 192Khz 24bit with check Audio source output from music player setting if Android sound setting is set to HDMI Auto will get correct sound decode by internal DAC and when Android audio Setting is set HDMI Raw will passthrough to AVR.
Between I think Chinese message is remember to check Audio source output on setting of music player.

Yeah woke up and turned box on and almost everything was gone in poster wall, so did factory reset, added all my mount points again and most of the poster was stuff came back, but have no idea if it will still be there when I get home tonight.

i am glad that musicplayer plays well. It is a pity that dsd still is not working as once promised.
Posterwall is for me not the most important. Most of the time I delete a movie after seen.
musicplayer and picture quality/sound are for me the most important items. so egreat keep on the good work
and solve the remaining problems. I still do trust you.

Hi E_CS. I know that. Files are playing in HQ without problems for me via my AMP but:
I am talking the reverse here for those not having an AMP and not being able to use HDMI RAW. These customers expect the player to still output LPCM at 48Khz and 16 bit (handled without problems by their TV). Only for 192 KHz and 24-bit this won't work with all other rates down sampling to 48 Khz SQ works correctly. I hope it is clear now?

I am sure DSD will come one day too as the format is already recognized.

Meanwhile, I note that in the movie wall, it always shows ‘Loading Poster’ , although the HDD is not loading , but I don’t know if it causes the new problems of poster wall as I noted in above post.

The new firmware seems to be fine in regards to the music player. The poster wall seems about the same too, I haven't really played with it as I use the Vidon app instead to watch my stuff, I like how it's organized. Back to the music player, it identifies my small selection of MP3 files just fine. Perhaps I'll have a different opinion once I actually get a 4k television. I am running the audio through a Yamaha receiver, and most audio codecs do passthrough just fine.

I just noticed that while playing music the display is flickering between time and playback counter all the time. Has anybody else the same problem.
