Hi to everyone can help me. I have 4 hard disk connected to my A5. I made a first scan with kodi and everything going fine. At every restart of the A5 the starting order of the disk may change (sda1 could be sdc1 for example) and kodi don't found movies anymore (the movie is not found, do you want to delete from library?)! How to solve it? TIA
@allanon Have you tried this in Vidon XBMC and Kodi? Are they the same situation? Which should be depended on Android System function.
Search on futeko forum for [PATCH] Mount storage by UUID / Label, this patch is intent to help users for build Kodi/VidonXBMC/SPMC library for me work on Egreat A10/A5 too.
I'll give it a try but I think for a player like A5 this must be fixed by "egreat" itself, not with a patch made by users... I'm disappointed about the software implementation of the player (my old med8er is a lot better!!!) and the good image quality is not the only thing users needs in a "top" player.
Hi Rita, same situation in your player and in Vidon xbmc, hard drive name may changes in reboot. I'm disappointed about the software implementation of the player (my old med8er is a lot better!!!) and the good image quality is not the only thing users needs in a "top" player. Consider to fix in the future the use of the disk names instead of sda1, sdb1, etc. That could help a lot in the use of the player.
Wellcome to your first Android player...please read over internet what Android player CAN'T DO compare with 8 year old dedicate players. Egreat can't fixed HDD answering time to power up, and on this point of developing SDK not easy to redefine all apps to work with UUID. User like Labels, but they are not unique and can make problems like are in others SoC.
Hi E_CS, I tried the latest version (1.0.7) but no luck, maybe I'm wrong in something, can you help me for the correct application of the patch? TIA
For everyone interested: it works for me with 1.0.6 version of the patch mentioned above, many thanks to E_CS!!!
